Here is some art by me. Real life, digital and I might even talk about some ideas and stuff and junk. Yep

Best Of Rodney Mullen (by Berilac)

Rodney Mullen. I can remember always being the most excited about unlocking his videos on THPS. He is with out a doubt my favorite skater and always will be. The way he just floats around on his board is mind boggling. If anyone was ever born to skate, its this man. Also I have the up most respect for him not only for his ability but, after his injury and almost losing the ability to walk and then coming back stronger than ever and adapting and transcending his style. He is an idol of mine for sure.

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

The time I was in a pool at preschool. I remember getting out to dry off and there was snot all over my face. :^)

This is where it all started for me. My Maam and I were in some “odds and ends” store down the street and i saw this skateboard. I had most likely seen Michelangelo skateboarding on Ninja Turtles or something and wanted this thing. I tried skateboarding for awhile, even had a pretty nasty fall when i was like 8 or 9 but, I was mostly obsessed with the artwork itself. The colors, the idea of a skater being eaten by a shark. The whole thing is pretty preposterous and a bit morbid but, I loved it. Then a few years later and started playing the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games. Awesome games. Defined a generation. But I always found myself so excited about unlocking all of the skate decks. I would just look at them for hours. So I think this is the time when I became enthralled by art and expression. I just thought about the perfect marriage of athleticism and art that is skateboarding. I so respect skaters and what they do and in the same right the artist and skateboard companies that make these amazing yet practical pieces. It just fascinated me and still does. Well this is the first of many expression related posts. Hope you all enjoy.
